I really really really like the OST used in this game and I desperately need to listen to it somewhere I beg
This game is so unique and amazing, heavily recommended
Damn. That was a wild adventure. It felt like I was both watching Riverdale, Stranger Things and maybe The Twilight Zone all at the same time. I've only watched Stranger Things completely but it feels like the other 2 fits it all as well.
That was... something. I was struggling for the MC but also questioning the MC a lot. I honestly didn't know what to feel aside from just cheering on the MC and hope for the best. I hope their relationship with Nia will be a success along with the rest of the story but with that demo end--oof! So many things are happening and so many decisions have been made that made me just go, "NO WHY WOULD YOU DO THAAAATTTTT?!" The story is so intense and fascinating. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Even when there were moments of respite and intimacy, I just couldn't get over the anxiety even while I was enjoying the scene--which is nice cos it means the writing has immersed me completely! I love it! ♥♥♥
Imre's feking sussy though I swear! His reaction when MC told him of her guess on what's happening--I swear it felt like a red flagggg. Does he knoooww? AAA! I love this mystery. Makes me so interested w/ the weird sacrifices or something that's going on haha.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! I need more and I am definitely eager to wait for more! You have an amazing way of telling a story. I legitimately did not expected to get unnerved and spooked when the forest became quiet when the rain stopped but man, it did and I was so pleased by that! I never get spooked by written horror so that made me happy.
Oh also--There were definitely moments of code breaks but I didn't write them down to report, I'm sorry. What I do remember specifically though is that there was a choice I shouldn't have gotten cos I never had that interaction prior.
When meeting Arthur after coming out of the forest, I think if you say no to the ride, Imre threatens you? I never saw that scene because I agreed to the ride immediately.
However, when sharing a bed with Nia--there was a part that if you picked the option: "So Imre is your bestfriend now?" it flicks between the right response and then Nia responding to something that maybe... Imre did? I don't know, I have no context to it. Just that Nia was upset and angry at someone.
The only reason that I think it was the threat Imre did is because when you wake up after getting sick, I had the option to tell Nia about Imre threatening me which NEVER happened by the way cos again, my MC agreed to the ride immediately. So that option shouldn't have been available for me. Thought I'd let ya know!
NAHHH THIS IS SO GOOD — WHY IS IT SO GOODDDD
Absolute banger
finally finished this and wow loved it! cant wait for more! :3
This game is crazy work... the choices had me so stressed. 10/10
holy moly
Holy shit.
Wow. Just wow. I’m so happy I went out of my comfort zone and played this absolute banger, I love the way the characters are wrote so spectacularly and I can’t wait to play more.
banger after banger. author is physically incapable of not writing a masterpiece
wow sally def surprised me this chapter. i never thought his obssesion would go this far. i wonder how much he REALLY knows? and what the fuck he's doing in that room he locked himself in? everyone in the crown family is messed up 10/10 ep
for some reason i can't load my saves? is this a bug? or i js have to play it from the start?
I couldn't load my save either. Whether it was a bug or a feature, I don't know.
Its intended, the author redid some of the code so old saves wont work anymore

She’s at eye-level with him given the size of her heels. Before he can open his mouth, she slaps him hard across the face. His head snaps to the side but he quickly recovers, his face impassive while a red welt starts forming on his cheek. “And to what may I owe this act of violence?” he asks. She leans, “I told you to not mess with Birdie. I wasn’t fucking around and for some reason you don’t understand that. But I will make you understand it.” She looks over her shoulder at you and nods, “take your medicine and ask Wendy to make you some tea with honey.” She looks back at Imre and says, “asshole,” before walking away. Not because you’re just anyone.” You feel your cheeks grow warm. It’s hard to handle such brutal honesty about love towards you. Nia says it as if it were just a fact of life. That of course she would do this, there isn’t any thought of her ever doing anything else. <<if $Niaforgiveness > 14>>\ You two eye each other, truly look at each other. Anyone else getting this error on mobile at turn 418 after letting Imre "play lead detective" with Arthur?
Damnnnn that cliff hanger-
was fucking awesome. I loved the new chapter and can't wait for more updates. Remember to take care of your physical and mental health!
So two things. For future reference, please try to contact me other ways itch is very bad with notifications the only reason I saw this was because I got a spam notification of something else. Two, I need more information this bug could be any page at any point in time.
So I went into this game with no expectations only to be blown away by how captivating and intriguing the story became! The characters all draw you in with different motivations, backstory, and reactions to the MC's return, while the mysteries surrounding the town continue to entice the reader to delve further and further into the history of this world.
The little side stories are fun, and the interludes give the whole game an episodic feel that works well IMO.
I will say there are some minor issues with spelling and grammar, though they are by no means egregious enough to detract from the story, just an issue to keep in mind. On a personal level, I did think the real-world name-dropping was a little heavy-handed, though that could just be a matter of taste. Overall, a solid game that I'm eager to see the rest of!
Ok, am i being stupid? I remember playing the entire public content and now that I'm replaying it I can't get past the clothes choice for school? (I'll bring it up on the bug report docs, just typing it here in case another player can help me)
Like, no matter if i choose the masculine clothing link or the feminine clothing link, it takes me to this screen
Yeah I found that for amab trans characters there was a bug it should work fine now
the romance choices i mean.
Hey, I appreciate the bug reports but could you please do it on the google doc or tumblr? It's kind of chaotic to do it on the game comment section since it's not the best for it
I restarted from the beginning since my old saves were broken annnd…. It breaks the game and I can’t continue on (It could be that it’s because I’m on my phone). 😭
as I said on tumblr, this will be fixed in a few hours. Just wait ☺️
ohh! I’m so sorry, I didn’t even check the tumblr!
🙂↕️
its been over a day
It’s fixed. I would appreciate it if I wasn’t spoken to like this though I had other coding issues I had to do
You weren't spoken to any particular way though I apologize if it seemed that way. It was just a reminder. I'm happy it's been fixed.
Ahhhh my saves no longer work
a made a big code update, it broke saves
any updates on any of the author's ifs?
i got an update today that this one was updated, not sure if that means bug fixes or an actual story though
author would probably do a post on the development log if it was a story update, so it's probably just bug fixes
that was my assumption i haven't given it a replay since, but at least there is some activity
we are ALL cracking Imre. yes, ALL.
ah hell nah i'm running away with nia
and im skipping town with my favorite wet car lorcan
The three ways to choose gender at the start sort of confuse me...
There's choosing pronouns: Both what you refer to yourself and what other characters refer to you as
There's choosing physical gender: Self explanatory
Then there's... the last one which is the main source of confusion. Because you can choose all 4 options of born as and would like to be(E.G. born man, cool as man) + born anything and nonbinary.
What really confuses me is you can choose pronouns as female, physical gender as female, then choose "born as man, fine with being a man" or vice versa. Is there a reason for this?
its if you are trans so "born as a man, fine w a man" is cis, whilst not being fine w being a man would mean you r mtf
I know that. I'm just saying its redundant, and even confusing, to add a third option. Your comment example, "born as a man, fine w a man", itself only really had two variables in it.
looking futher, i think its an option so you havent "transitioned" yet, as oposed to the first option at the very beggining, where it mightve said you had. I dunno as i didnt look into it but its a really good addition to the game in my opinion
The story ends at the part labeled "Patreon access"—is that the entirety of what's been released so far?
I would assume so; the rest has to be for Patreons, sadly.
The chapters are released publically and patreons just get early release to scenes ! So once the chapter is finished, I believe they then get released publically.
I see. Thanks for clearing it u!
I've been enjoying the story so far, but one thing I'm confused about- at the beginning, it said there was an opportunity to choose some trans options at chapter 5- did I miss/misunderstand something? Was the choice at the start of one of the chapters where it asked me gender again when I was supposed to say my MC was trans? I feel like I missed something
It was probably the choice at the beginning of the chapter where it asked you about gender again. I think there was also a spot in chapter one where it says "Which is simply ... you are a ..."
or "Which is simply ... well they tell you that you are a ... but ... it sounds ... not right."
Maybe that has something to do with it? I could be wrong though.
is the rest of the game only available to patreon?
I guess the next chapter or part is still being made, and the patreon code is to get early access to it
I'm sorry if I'm just being dumb, and spoilers I guess, but for the life of me I don't understand what Imre says when the says the bodies have something in common. Is it a specific location with a specific name? Cause I don't recall them mentioning them going anywhere specific.
If this is for Episode 4, the answer is on the author's Tumblr FAQ!
As someone whos been in the hospital, i can safely say all my internal fears about telling ppl about it have been successfully addressed lol
What was updated??
Nia can tie me and use me as her paintbrush nails
author please make imre suffe
fuck you imre ima chopp your dik and ran away with nia
I have this sneaking suspicion that you mayyy not like Imre- just a hunch, though.
I realize that most likely the author is taking a break from the story and focusing her energies on other projects (lots of luck and inspiration with that!) but the bug where after selecting a TV show in which you can't further select anything remains :C It would be great if it was fixed in the future!
I’m wondering if you can be more specific? You can’t select a tv show as far as I know.
I couldn't find this bug in the first ~20min of reading this IF, but I did notice a looping issue with the rain audio that causes it to periodically go silent every 30 seconds or so. Loving the writing so far, though!
Maybe they mean seeing the news and selecting a reaction? I have that glitch. Just goes blank for most of the screen after I select any reaction to the news. I did see the game was updated 4 hours ago (I'm writing this on 5/29/25 at 3:42 pm), so I'll check if it's fixed lol.
is this still getting updated?
I’m currently writing for one of my other games. This game will be getting updated sometime in the late summer/early fall
Oh, oky. Stay healthy and have a good day . May I ask which one?
O, your heavenly stars. Before that I was working on excellent cadavers :)
